Electricity on Mutant Ewok Clones
the Mutant Ewok Clone Experiments Projects

Test Subject: Ewok A
Control Subject: Ewok B
Test Location: Outside Den's Villa on Aurora Prime.
Description: To test the resistivity of a Mutant Ewok Clone, a 240V standard AC household current was run across it.

ewok a under 240V. Our first attempt to check the resistivity of a Mutant Ewok Clone was an utter failure. After several minutes of watching, nothing happened in the control or the subject Mutant Ewok Clone.

After verifying that power was being supplied to Mutant Ewok Clone, we concluded that the resistivity of the Mutant Ewok Clone must be so high that not enough current was passing through to cause any noticeable change. A quick measurement with a Digital Multimeter confirmed that the resistivity was beyond the meter's range... Our hypothesis was that maybe we shouldn't have fixed our jump cables to the wool of the Mutant Ewok Clone but to the Mutant Ewok Clone itself. As the wool might have a isolating effect.

Therefore, we chose two extrusions that were to be connected to the power, shaved them and ran the current through it. After a long wait (five to 10 seconds) a slight liquification of the eyes was apparent. Small bubbles (almost unobservable) appeared on the top of the Mutant Ewok Clone. And smoke began to emit from the wool we didn't shave. After these small changes, nothing else happened...

Conclusions: This was a relatively boring experiment, the smoke was cool but that was about it.. We noted that Mutant Ewok Clones pass almost no current, probably because they are almost totally green slimy stuff and wool..

Possible Applications: If something has wall current passed across it with just a bit of flinching, people take notice. This, shows the Mutant Ewok Clones to be a truly multipurpose material. If you want to electrically isolate a room from static or higher voltage electricity, you can simply line it with Mutant Ewok Clones. If a power line has fallen in the road and you want to move it, you simply wrap the line in Mutant Ewok Clones, and then you can drive over it again... the possibilities are endless! .

Next week: We do the same test on gungans.
